Britney Spears was rushed to the emergency room on Thursday night after a stand-off with police.
Cops were called to the trainwreck's house after she refused to hand over custody of her kids to Kevin Federline's bodyguard.
The showdown lasted almost FOUR hours and K-Fed showed up, as did his lawyer and a representative for Spears law firm, you know, the ones that want to quit.
Police have said that Spears was discovered to be under the influence of an unknown substance.
Thankfully the children are back with K-Fed now and Spears will be held for psychiatric evaluation at Cedars Medical Center.
Hopefully the court will order Britney to undergo 30 days - or more - of mental evaluation.

Rumors are abound that Nicole Kidman is expecting, although it’s been denied by her rep, there’s still a chance that it’s true. Notice how Keith’s arm is protecting her belly? Hmmm…Marc Anthony used to do that to J.Lo all of the time.

Is Katie Holmes Having Problems Getting Pregnant?
Apparently Katie Holmes is having problems getting pregnant. Here’s what a source told Britain’s Now magazine,
“She’s really upset about it. The one thing she wants more than anything is a son for Tom. “She says they’ve been trying since the summer, but it just hasn’t happened for them yet. “Katie and Tom sat down and had a heart-to-heart and decided it might be worth her going to see the doctor to get checked out.”
It's reported that the couple may be seeing a fertility specialist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles later this month.
