Vlieg "strippenkaart" voor vliegen binnen VS??

Dag allemaal,
Ik ben voorzichtig rond aan het kijken voor de mogelijkheden voor een reis naar Amerika. Ik wil verschillende vrienden bezoeken met als startpunt de Oostkust en eindigen aan de Westkust.
Nu heb ik ooit eens gehoord van een soort "strippenkaart" voor vliegen binnen de VS.
Maar ik kan er niets over vinden op het internet.
Heeft een van jullie hier ooit van gehoord en kan me meer info geven?

Ik weet het niet, maar heb er ook wel van gehoord.
Tip: stel je vraag op het alles amerika forum, daar zitten allemaal Amerikafielen!

This might be the most common question here: "What's the cheapest way from City A to City B," closely followed by, "What's the best way?" Here's the answer:
Your choices are Amtrak, Greyhound, or the airlines. For the airlines, check Orbitz and Southwest and Jet Blue.
As for what's best, there's no way anyone here can answer that question. It all depends on your priorities.
For long trips (over 500 miles), flying is fastest and often remarkably cheap but not very comfortable. The bus is almost always cheapest, but it's slow and uncomfortable. The train is usually the slowest, but it's the most comfortable form of mass transit. You'll usually get the best views from the train, but many train routes or segments of them have unremarkable views. A rental car is probably slowest of all, but it's very comfortable and offers the most flexibility. It is almost always the most expensive choice.

Het is inderdaad waar dat als je een intercontinentale vlucht hebt korting op binnenlandse vluchten krijgt in de VS.
Wereld Contact had als reisorganisatie voor immigranten en hun familie altijd goede informatie hierover. Je moet overigens wel lid worden van de toko (wat overigens 17.50 euro kost) als je via hen wilt boeken maar de informatie is gratis. Ben lang lid geweest echter nu zelf naar de States verhuisd en heb het dus niet meer nodig.

Vinyl Airtran is een low budget maatschappij net zoals Easy Jet. Ik heb er vorig jaar ook mee gevlogen en je hebt een grote kans dat je in Atlanta overstapt. Ik heb bij hun mee gedaan aan hun Free Fitness program om het andere vliegtuig te halen.
Voor de rest was het oke, het is niet voor niets een lowbudget maatschappij.
