Eerder vanavond werd in Noorwegen iedereen op het vasteland tegenover Utoya opgeroepen om als ze een boot hadden, het water op te gaan om te gaan zoeken naar kinderen die in paniek zijn gaan zwemmen. Ook hoor ik net, ongeveer een uurtje geleden ofzo, dat de bloedbank in Oslo alle geregistreerde bloeddonors heeft opgeroepen om te komen doneren ivm de gewonden en de gewonden die ze nog verwachten te gaan aantreffen op Utoya.
Een ooggetuige had eerder vanavond telefonisch gezegd dat hij minimaal 30 lijken langs de kustlijn van Utoya en in het water had zien liggen, hij was een van de mensen die snel ter plaatse was en kinderen aan het evacueren was. Hij was heel erg emotioneel dat hij dat vertelde, maar vriendin zei dat de grote nieuwsoutlets dat niet hebben overgenomen dus ze vermoed dat men denkt dat de informatie niet klopt. De politie wil steeds niet te veel bevestigen.
Oh ja, en vanmiddag zijn er een aantal andere gebouwen ontruimd, waaronder een media gebouw, omdat daar verdachte pakketjes waren gevonden en langs het spoor of in een station is ook een verdacht pakketje aangetroffen en die locatie is nog steeds afgesloten omdat men daarvan echt denkt dat het ook weer een bom was. En dus ook explosieven op Utoya gevonden.

Vwb een eventuele Al Qaida connectie uit ons gesprek eerder vanavond:
"An Al Qaida page is commenting. Saying this is just the start. They may be claiming something not related to them. Hard to know.
They are also talking about the Oklahoma City bombing by now, and saying the extreme islamist groups always try to take credit when something like this happens.
The police has confirmed that the shooter at Utoya is connected to the bomb in Oslo."
Later werd dus bekend dat de dader inderdaad gewoon een Noor is.

The perpetrator is 32, and an ethnic Norwegian. Latest rumour is right wing extremist. It's not confirmed. He trapped kids, pretending to be there to help them, and used an assault rifle or similar.
There's been reports of a massive rescue action by local residents picking up children by boat, donating clothes, sheltering and helping everywhere they could."

Er is ook al eens een blonde blanke Belgische geweest die het plan had opgevat zich als Moslim-extremiste in Irak van kant te maken. Dus laten we nou gewoon even ophouden met sprookjes te voeden. Het verandert hoe dan ook niks aan de gruwelijkheid van deze daden. En het voorkomt 'reflexen', op een moment dat mensen kwetsbaar zijn voor overreactie. Met nog meer leed tot gevolg.
Dat er claims verschijnen van 'Al Qaida' en andere 'Moslim organisaties', is niet alleen toe te dichten aan Moslim-extremisten met geldingsdrang. De kans is zelfs groter dat er organisaties achter zitten die er baat bij hebben dat de Moslim-haat een verse impuls krijgt.
