Angelina Jolie In Hospital For Birth Of Twins.
PARIS (AP). Angelina Jolie has checked into a hospital in the south of France where she is expected to give birth to her twins, a hospital spokesman said Tuesday.
Nadine Bauer, press attache for the Lenval Hospital in Nice, said Jolie is fine and that everything is going well. She said Jolie's admittance to the maternity wing had been planned for some time.
Bauer said the 33-year-old actress will almost certainly remain in the hospital until she gives birth. She said Jolie was admitted so she could be kept under normal surveillance -- and is not expected to give birth immediately.
Bauer said Jolie was admitted recently but wouldn't say exactly when.
'There's no urgency. It's been planned for a long time,' she said. 'She's very well. Everything is fine.'
Jolie has said the babies are due in August. She and partner Brad Pitt have four children: Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh.

Update: The French magazine, Closer, which claimed Jolie had already given birth just sent us the following statement.
'Angelina Jolie will give birth in the following days.
This morning we informed you that Angelina Jolie was supposedly giving birth.
The actress is actually under observation at Lanval hospital in Nice. She was admitted on sunday afternoon and should remain there until she gives birth of her twins. She is to be due in the upcoming days'.

Vanuit amerika hier nog steeds het nieuws dat angelina is op genomen uit voor zorg maatregel dat ze kan uit rusten en dat ze de babies goed in de gaten kunnen houden.......
Zou me trouwens niets verbazen dat ze al bevallen is en dat ze wachten to beide kinderen helemaal goedzond zijn voordat ze bekend maken dat ze geboren zijn....
