Chateau Miraval
Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline's first home is Chateau Miraval, an 800-acre estate in Provence, France, complete with its own vineyard, olive groves, lake, moat, 20 fountains and a forest perfect for keeping prying eyes out (though that hasn't stopped the paparazzi from trying). The Jolie-Pitt family, who has resided there since late May, has a long-term lease on the chateau, worth a reported $70 million.
New Orleans
The Crescent City – where the Jolie-Pitt brood relocated in early 2007 when Brad Pitt was filming The Curious Case of Benjamin Button – has become the family's adopted hometown. "It has an energy like no other place," the actor has said of New Orleans, where they own a $3.5 million home in the historic French Quarter. Pitt, an architecture buff, has put his efforts toward rebuilding the city post-Hurricane Katrina by raising funds for eco-friendly housing in ravaged neighborhoods
Santa Barbara
When they're not frolicking at their French chateau or living life in the Big Easy, the Jolie-Pitt clan enjoy the laidback California lifestyle at their home near Santa Barbara (pictured). Pitt also owns an oceanfront house in Malibu and one in Los Feliz in the Hollywood Hills, where they spend much of their time when they're visiting Los Angeles.
