U.S. President Donald Trump’s election campaign issued a statement on Sunday distancing itself from Sidney Powell, a lawyer who made baseless allegations of voter fraud at a campaign press conference on Thursday.
“Sidney Powell is practicing law on her own,” Trump campaign lawyers Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis said in the statement. “She is not a member of the Trump Legal Team. She is also not a lawyer for the President in his personal capacity.”
The announcement came one day after a judge dismissed the campaign’s lawsuit seeking to halt President-elect Joe Biden’s victory in Pennsylvania, dealing a major blow to Trump’s flailing efforts to overturn his Nov. 3 election loss.

Ach, is Sidney weg? Wie had dat nou kunnen denken... die vrouw ademde complottheorieen, misschien werd dat zelfs Team Trump teveel? Of was het overweldigende bewijs dat ze had juist niet genoeg? Het geeft wel weer aan wat voor zooitje het daar is. Sommige Trumpies hadden veel vertrouwen in Sidney vanwege haar 'indrukwekkende staat van dienst', maar helaas, het heeft niet zo mogen zijn.
Wie nu nog steeds denkt dat Trump op de een of andere manier de winst gaat behalen mag zijn hand opsteken!

Thanks, @ChrisChristie. Just a word on how you phrased your support Trump. "I voted for him twice." You might want to revise that to "I voted for him in the primary and the general." Otherwise, you know - "voting twice" might raise some eyebrows.

Team Trump is weer bezig met bezigheidstherapie. Nu appeal in de Pennsylvania zaak. Vol met typefouten trouwens. Kennelijk willen ze helemaal niet naar SCOTUS, wie had dat gedacht.
