In a suit, Trump always reminds me of the penny-for-the-guy figures that used to be seen on the streets before Bonfire Night: turkey-plump at the chest, flappy around the legs and with oddly proportioned hands and feet. Penny for the guy seems to have been phased out by the ascendancy of Halloween over the British rituals of 5 November. Once again: thanks, America!"

Melania kan natuurlijk echt niet op wat voor manier dan ook een voorbeeld zijn, maar ik vind haar stiekem bijna altijd prachtig gekleed.
Ook niet zo gek als je alleen maar de eerste lijn van topdesigners draagt en een oud-modellen figuur hebt.......maar toch.....ik kijk toch altijd wel met een schuin oog wat ze draagt.

Ik ook hoor, vond zelfs die Big Ben jurk leuk waar in dat stuk dat DG plaatste over werd gevallen.

Je zou bijna zeggen "het is haar baan", toch?
Maar verder komt er zo weinig uit haar, voor mijn gevoel. Andere first ladies hadden altijd wel wat, dat ze belangrijk vonden en waar ze voor stonden, maar van Melania weet ik dat helemaal niet.

Wel een goed idee! Hoop dat het nog wat wordt. Op haar eigen zoon werd ook behoorlijk afgegeven online. Chelsea Clinton reageerde daar nog boos op.
Ik heb verder bij Melania altijd het idee dat ze ooit een wurgcontract tekende en daar nu niet onderuit kan. Of misschien is dit echt wat ze wil.
