JENNIFER LOPEZ is pregnant with her first child. The singer/actress is due to give birth in the spring (08), according to an insider. U.S. publication In Touch Weekly claims Lopez and husband Marc Anthony received the good news after visiting her Beverly Hills gynaecologist, fertility specialist Dr. Robert Katz. Sources tell the publication she had an ultrasound performed in a New York office on 12 September (07). One insider says, "The test calculated that she was about 12 weeks pregnant." The couple has been trying to get pregnant for the past two years, and eventually turned to in vitro fertilisation. And those close to the couple claim the baby news could be a double blessing - doctors think Lopez, 38, could be expecting twins. A pal tells In Touch, "The way the fetus is lying made it difficult for the doctor to tell if there was more than one baby in there." It is not known whether the baby news will upset the couple's upcoming tour dates, which begin in early November (07). This will be the couple's first child together. Anthony, 39, already has three children from previous relationships.

Pop star Usher, 28, and his new wife, 37-year-old Tameka Foster, have revealed they are having a boy, reports People.
“I just want my son to be fully coherent and to be healthy, first and foremost,” he says. “I’ve found that it is a step-by-step process. You can wish for a million and one things. But I hope that my son has the same energy I had as a child. Hopefully, he won’t be as bad as me. I hope that he’s just a healthy son.”
Usher revealed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show some potential names. “If it’s a boy, I’m going to name him Usher. I’m hoping to name him that. I’ve been playing with a few names. I’m the fourth. Usher Raymond IV. I just want to pass the name on. Maybe I’ll change the middle name.”
The couple’s baby is due this fall.

Gwen Stefani wil snel tweede baby
AMSTERDAM - Gwen Stefani heeft onthuld dat ze snel een tweede baby wil met haar man Gavin Rossdale. "We willen op korte termijn nog een kindje erbij. Als we langer wachten, ben ik straks te oud", zo zegt de 38-jarige zangeres in het tijdschrift InStyle.
Stefani en Rossdale hebben samen een zoontje van anderhalf, Kingston. "Toen ik zwanger zorgde Gavin erg goed voor me", zo zegt de zangeres in het tijdschrift. "Hij deed alles waar ik om vroeg."
Stefani is momenteel aan het touren. The Sweet Escape Tour deed vorige maand ook Nederland aan.

AMSTERDAM - De Belgische prinses Mathilde, echtgenote van kroonprins Filip, is in verwachting van haar vierde kind. Dat heeft het koninklijk paleis donderdag bekendgemaakt.
Het kind moet ergens in de lente geboren worden.
De andere kinderen van Filip en Mathilde zijn Elisabeth (5), Gabriel (4) en Emmanuel, die donderdag 2 jaar werd. Het stel is sinds 1999 getrouwd.

A shopping spree in West Hollywood is nothing unusual for Christina Aguilera. But this excursion early Saturday evening was a first for the singer.
With her husband Jordan Bratman, her mother-in-law and her sister-in-law in tow, Aguilera spent two hours picking out items for her baby registry at the posh Robertson Boulevard boutique Bel Bambini.
"She looked beautiful," says store sales employee Crysta Smith about the singer, who wore a long black skirt and a cotton jacket. "She had a little bump. She said she was so excited [to have a baby]."
Aguilera, who has never officially confirmed her pregnancy, told the staff that she was expecting – and revealed the gender of her baby, but asked to keep it private.
