Good morning girls,
Kym, you're leaving really soon, how exciting!
I went to the park yesterday and it started raining as well, more drizzling like they say here in the UK.
I've never heard about the expression with the apples, I do like it but I don't think it's British.
Hope you will all have a lovely sunny day!

I would love to practise my English. I can speak, read and understand it very well, but writing is totaly difrent for me. But I'm also bad in writing in Dutch. I want to improve in English writing because I'm getting my masters decree at the end of this year and I think it will be good for me if I improve my English when I'm gonna search for a job.

Hi girls!
Well, I only asked for a new passport at the local government office. It'll be ready in a few days. And then I have to arrange my visa and stuff, but I think I'll ask the organisation where I'm going to work for to do it for me. I think it isn't that easy and they ask for it all the time ofcourse, so problaby thats safer
Besides it I have to get a lot of vaccinations as well, so..pff...really a lot to do in my opinion.
Iris, I think Robo told us she's a English translator and has a foreign man (french). But now I'm not so sure anymore actually.

You might wanna find out whether there's an african club in your vicinity. In Rotterdam there used to be a club at the Nieuwe binnenweg or roundabout, I'm afraid I have forgotten the name, maybe they know something about it at Cafe Easy. They played african music on Saturday nights.
Sure one way of getting accustomed to pushy African males and certainly the way to practice English.
